10/25 NCAAF: Uconn @ Pitt

Tonight's game features two struggling Big East teams. Both teams come into the game with 3-4 overall records, 1-1 in Big East Action, and 2-5 ATS. While Uconn is coming off a tight win vs. South Florida, Pitt has been going downhill after a quick start to the season. While being hindered offensively, Uconn has managed to put 16 or more points in every game this year. Not saying that this is much, but it would take a 27 point effort by Pitt to cover the spread of -10. Pitt has has averaged 160 ypg on its' running game led by the fifth leading rusher in the land, Ray Graham. At the qb position, they have struggled with Sunseri and Anderson switching in and out. With instability at this position, look for Pitt to once again rely on its' running game to put the ball in the end zone. But that may not be so easy against a Uconn team who gives up only 89 ypg on the ground. Uconn, confident and ready to play under the spotlight, knows what it has to do to keep the game close. With that being said, the picks for tonight's game are Uconn +10 and Under 42.

Quotes:
Paul Pasqualoni (Uconn HC): ""The first part is to put them in situations where (Pittsburgh) has to throw the ball.  With their tailback, Ray Graham, that is going to be quite a challenge.  We'll have a chance to rush the passer and disrupt the offense, but we've got to get them in those kinds of situations."
