The Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys Sunday night in a NFC East battle. The underachieving Eagles come of a much needed bye week after beating the Redskins to bring their record to 2-4. Meanwhile, the 3-3 Cowboys are coming off a blowout win over the Rams. The trend in recent meetings has been the road + dog. Dallas seems to be the obvious play as 60% of people are backing the Boys +3. But, a telling stat is that the Eagles coach Andy Reid is 12-0 coming off a bye. I know the new rules haven't quite favored teams coming off byes, but good coaches find ways to get it done. The situation that the Eagles are in, finding themselves 2-4 and in desperate need of a win (especially against an NFC East rival) is not ideal. However, being at home has to be comforting in this huge game. This game will definitely be a close, but the smart play is buying a hook and taking EAGLES -2.5. BOL to whatever you play.
